I believe instructions on building it were lost when our forums went down before we switched to schattenkind.net. the sources are available at http://sourceforge.net/projects/fortress and it should run in the vexi-3 beta available from http://vexi.sf.net to run it just run "java -jar /path/to/vexi.jar /path/to/vexi-widgets.jar /path/to/fortress/src" let me know if there's any problems.
